We started our second day in Bali with doing some water sport. we played 4 different games, including Banana Boat, Jet Ski, Parasailing Adventure, and Flying Fish. I don’t own any waterproof camera, so there is no picture of me during all the water activity. 😥
After doing lots of water sports, we met the driver that going to help us for the rest of the day. Our first ever stop was at a restaurant that sells Ayam Betutu (ayam = chicken) an authentic Balinese cuisine. Usually there are 2 types of Ayam Betutu, with soup or fried and usually both of them are quite spicy. This time, we tried the one with soup. XD XD
For the drinks, I ordered a glass of Avocado Juice (I am a big fan of avocado
After filling our tummy, we went to a beach called as Pandawa Beach. This beach have a greenish color water with yellowish sand. Sadly, when I visited this place, there were so many people, way too much. So its quite hard to take picture.
Then, we were heading to Padang Padang beach. This beach is quite hidden because we need to take stairs from a cliff that had been cut and modified into a simple stair.
Me personally don’t really like this beach. there are a lot of coral and stones that have lots of circle holes, and I find it was disturbing (maybe its trypophobia?) and there are a numerous of green algae, moss, or sea weed (I don’t know) on the right side of the beach. Plus, there was a light rain when we were in the beach and it makes the green thing became more slippery.
After the two of the beaches, we went to another place, still about beach, but this time we saw from the top of a cliff. It’s a famous place called as Uluwatu Temple or Water Temple. the cliff itself is kind of u shaped and the temple located in one of the edge.
Sea water from this place have a deep blue color with a little green color. it is so pretty especially because the wave hit rocks and the cliff it makes a white color foam that makes the sea even prettier.
We wait for 1 hour here just to see sunset. but the clouds hides the sun that makes our 1 hour of waiting wasted. Well, that is accepted because we still can hear the sound of the sea 🙂
To end our day in several beaches, we decided to eat at a beach. It famous as Jimbaran Bay Restaurant. we ate while watching sunset that just came out when we leaving Uluwatu Temple. After sunset, this place is so dark that I must use flash to take a picture of the food (note: I hate using flash, I don’t know why 😦 ).
This is the end of our second day in Bali. I am so happy to be able to took lots of nice picture that day and I also feel honored to be able to share all my experience here.
Things that we need to know if we planning to go to Bali :
- The range price of renting car with diver is between IDR 400.000 – IDR 500.000 it is going to be more expensive if you rent it in your hotel. Some renting car places give you IDR 300.000 but usually fuel is excluded.
- You need to pay entrance fee to all places that I went in this second day and the price is going to be higher for foreigner.
- In Uluwatu Temple, you will meet tons of monkey. So, be careful for your belonging, they may take your goods.
That is all for today, thank you~ ❤
